PROVIDENCE, RI — If you'd like to apply to Rhode Island College, Wednesday is the day to do so: it's the school's official Apply to RIC For Free Day!
On Nov. 15 only, Rhode Island residents hoping to gain admission to Rhode Island College for the fall 2024 and spring 2024 semesters can skip the $50 admission fee and submit their applications at no cost.
"Rhode Island College is committed to providing access and eliminating barriers to a RIC education," the school said on its website.
As they go through the Common Application and reach the Rhode Island College general questions section, hopefuls will be asked "Do you qualify for any of the following Rhode Island College application fee waivers?" at which point they can select "Rhode Island College Application Fee Waiver Code" and enter APPLYFREE23, according to the school.
Those who submit their application Wednesday can also receive help from the school with their Common Application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, Rhode Island College said.
In addition, they will receive an admissions decision within two weeks, according to the college.
